UK/EU Import & Export
As of January 2021, all goods passing between Europe and the UK are subject to customs and duty fees, meaning they have to clear customs and require a commercial invoice and other documentation. You also need to apply for an EORI number to track and register any customs information in Europe. At LTC Logistics, we are here to help guide you through this complex sounding process, and ensure your goods get from A to B.
End to End Freight Management
At LTC Logistics, we are happy to manage all aspects of your delivery. This means we will take complete responsibility for the logistics cycle, starting with procurement and distribution, then transport, delivery to the customer and, where necessary, return transport.
Full Container Load (FCL)
As with an FTL, a full container is ideal for larger volumes of cargo, or items you’re concerned about getting damaged if they were loaded with other goods as you take control of what and how you pack your shipment. We can provide all types and sizes of containers, having these arrive at your door for your convenience as deliver them to the necessary port to get your container where it needs to be!
Less-Than-Container Load (LCL)
When a consignment of goods doesn’t completely fill the container by itself and it’s unlikely that the goods could be damaged, it’s a good idea to opt for an LCL shipment and share the cost of the container with other shippers. This means that you don’t have to worry about filling a container, or even packing it as our expert consolidators will take far of that for you. As with LTL, you only pay for the section of the container you use, which is ideal for small shipments.
Hazardous Shipments Inc. Packing & Documentation
In order to ship hazardous goods via sea freight, we require our customers to provide a Dangerous Goods Note declaration with full cargo details, danger class and a UN number. We will take responsibility for informing the sea line of the goods on board, allowing them to approve the goods being transported on the ship.
